Inside Sales Representative – Loveland, CO

Position Overview:
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for managing, growing, and servicing assigned accounts within a specific geography.

This position requires a goal-oriented telesales professional with strong relationship building and closing skills to generate new business and maintain existing accounts.

The ISR will work closely with the outside territory manager to be strategic, competitive and knowledgeable about all accounts Heska products and competitive products within the Veterinary industry.

Essential Duties:

  • Achieve and over exceed revenue goals in a territory via telesales.
  • Must meet minimum thresholds of call time and active outbound and inbound sales calls.
  • Strategically manage existing and new customers contacts in timely manner.
  • Maintain and grow existing client base via renewal orders and cross selling.
  • Contribute to overall company revenue goal and remain team oriented by fielding inbound calls and initiating cross selling outside of related territory.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all products and be seen as knowledgeable resource in all product categories.
  • Able to generate medical equipment leads via consultative selling. 
  • Forecast new and existing business; maintain proficient knowledge of business captured and business lost in order to achieve territory goal.
  • Stay solutions driven and proactive with competition and market changes. 
  • Communicate daily with territory manager to remain cohesive, capitalize on selling opportunities and leverage partnership. 
  • Provide superior customer service and remain solutions driven with all customers and/or customer concerns. 
  • Remain organized with assigned SOP’s; initiate and track marketing and/or other company requests in timely manner. 
  • Enter orders correctly into the company order management system (Great Plains). 
  • Keep errors and returns <1% per year. 
  • Effectively uses multiple software systems to service accounts.  This includes, but not limited to, ONYX, Great Plains, and the MS suite, Desktop.
  • Attend new product training.
  • May assist in the training and development of sales personnel.
  • Stay abreast of all company communications and internal changes.
  • Adhere to timeliness, assigned schedule, and company policies.
  • Manage appropriate distributor relationships and other partnerships.
  • Communicate with Inventory site (Des Moines) on special shipping and related requests/issues.
Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science preferred.
  • 1-2  years telesales experience required
  • Experience in the veterinary field highly desirable
  • Proficient with Great Plains, Onyx, Word and Excel preferred.

  • Experience managing a 50% base, 50% commission compensation plan.
