Description:


Newly created position, supporting all field sales activity and operations within a specified territory for Heska Corporation. Executes all training and installations of hematology and chemistry analyzers in a given territory. Daily travel with effective call routing, frequent clinic visits, and overnight travel will be required based on territory size and demand. Rapport development and developing greater Heska brand awareness in veterinary hospitals/clinics is a pivotal aspect of the role. Implementing, delivering, and executing specific training to clinic staff to properly operate and maximize use of company analyzers, other products, as well as minor trouble-shooting will be required. Ensures compliance to training standards, and delivers a high level of customer service to optimize customer retention. Position reports to Director of Sales Operations, with close collaboration with National Sales Trainer, and Field Trainer.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follows Heska Service Excellence performance requirements.
  • Schedules coverage/coordinates installations and training in a timely manner.
  • Produces high quality work in a timely manner.
  • Provides functional management and administrative support for territory and FSR program.
  • Works closely with Territory Manager assigned to the territory, as well as Inside Sales Rep.
  • Implements and maintains operational and installation procedures with regard to training clinics.
  • Serves as liaison between customer, Territory Manager, and Heska Corporation.
  • Completes reports on FSR activity including: length of time at assignment, location, training activity, etc.
  • Participates in general procedure and policy planning to further develop skills.
  • Visits clinic/hospital locations and may perform site audits for prospecting, inventory needs, etc.
  • Works with Director of Operations and National Sales Trainer on an ongoing, pro-active basis to formulate solutions to various clinic and territory needs.
  • Prepares, provides and conveys diversified information, which may be of a technical or competitive nature through departmental procedures and directives.
  • Maintains efficiency of clinic coverage, and accountable to maintain call coverage within set guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Requires college degree, but accredited technical vocation or Associate’s degree/experience will be considered. Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience.
  • Requires high level of rapport development, and customer service orientation.
  • Requires computer skills for data-base note taking, call routing, and email communication.
  • Requires attention to technical detail, and ability to convey that information concisely.
  • Requires clean driving history, and valid driver's license.
