This is a part time position reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer ideal for a college student. The work flow will be highly variable – some weeks will have heavy requests and other weeks there will be no work required. In many cases, the timing of the workflow will be predictable (early/mid-November, late March/early April, early/mid May and early/mid August tend to be the busiest). However, part of the job responsibility is “surge capacity” especially where Heska is considering a major corporate event. It is expected this individual will work outside of the office on a company-provided computer in many cases once the individual has learned the reports that need to be prepared. Most of these reports can be prepared at any time, but there are important deadlines at which the reports must be prepared (e.g. public valuation report needed first thing Monday morning for a Board book).
