
Suzanne M Pratt DVM
Dr. Pratt earned her veterinary degree from the University of California, Davis (UCD) in 2000. She completed an equine internship at Harris Farms Horse Division and returned to UCD for a residency in Equine Medicine and Surgery. Pivoting towards clinical pathology, Dr. Pratt completed a research fellowship at UCD, exploring the underlying mechanisms of a novel, heritable bleeding disorder in a Thoroughbred horse. Venturing east, to Purdue University, she completed a 3-year residency in clinical pathology. Returning to the west coast, Dr. Pratt worked as a clinical pathologist for Antech Diagnostics in Portland, Oregon for 7 years before expanding launching her independent consulting business in 2015. Dr. Pratt joined the team of independent contractors for Lacuna Diagnostics in 2018 and has continued on with Heska. Dr. Pratt is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in clinical pathology.
