In this FREE 1-hr CE seminar, Veterinary Oncologist Dr. J Armando Villamil will use a comparative approach to highlight differences and key points veterinarians can glean from the world of Human Oncology. In addition to communication tips related to cancer diagnoses in veterinary patients, you will learn about emerging therapies for various neoplastic diseases, new diagnostic options, and more. Presenter Bio:

Dr. J Armando Villamil is a board-certified oncologist. He was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dr. Villamil obtained his Bachelor of Science, Master’s and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Louisiana State University. While pursuing his veterinary medicine degree, he decided to become a specialist and dedicate himself to the treatment of cancer in animals. After achieving his veterinary degree, he completed a one year internship at Veterinary Specialist of South Florida. Following this clinical year, Dr. Villamil enrolled in a prestigious dual residency in medical oncology and PhD in epidemiology program at the University of Missouri. After successfully completing both programs, he worked at the University of Missouri as a clinical instructor. Following this position, Dr. Villamil returned to private practice in South Florida. After 6 years of working in private practice, he decided to create the Pet Cancer Group to offer the top cancer therapy his clients deserve.
